A Cape Verde Investment Forum is being organised for July. It is being arranged by the country’s Higher Council of Chambers of Commerce and Tourism.
The announcement was made by Olavo Correia the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister. The event will discuss potential projects in Cape Verde. There are already proposed projects approaching €2 billion in value. The Cabo Verde government wants to attract investors to the country, including service companies, such as banks, insurance businesses, financial organisations and others wishing to put money into tourism, transport technology, industry and other similar areas.
The meetings will be held between 1 and 3 July 2019 on the island of Sal, Cape Verde. It follows a meeting held in Paris last year. That event was entitled ‘Building new partnerships for the sustainable development of Cabo Verde’
