Cabo Verde Airlines are expanding their services to the USA. Starting in December, they will fly twice a week between Amilcar Cabral International Airport on the island of Sal and Logan Airport, Boston. The new services will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Currently there are flights between Praia and Boston, but only once a week.

It is understood that this addition to the flights to north America are in part because of a large number of Cape Verdean living in New England. They live mainly in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

This is, of course, in addition to the route between Sal and Washington Dulles.
